Depositor Comments

The reporter construct pCAR-IF (in frame) contains a hygromycin resistance gene plus a beta-galactosidase gene containing a 54-bp in-frame poly(C-A) tract at the 5' end of its coding region.

The 54 CA bases do not disrupt the beta-galactosidase reading frame. This plasmid is used as a control.
