MSCV ires NGFR (referred to as "NGFR") is identical to MigR1 except “ires GFP” of Mig R1 is replaced by the ECMV ires cloned in frame to the truncated human nerve growth factor receptor (tNGFR), which encodes the extracellular and transmembrane domains of hNGFR.

The source of the LTRs in this plasmid (and MigR1) is Pear et al., Blood. 1998 Nov 15;92(10):3780-92, which cites the MSCV2.2 plasmid from Hawley et al., Gene Ther. 1994 Mar;1(2):136-8. The MSCV LTRs are present at the following locations (numbering according to the full plasmid sequence obtained by Addgene):
