Depositor Comments

Note that the first 19 amino acids are the signal peptide for VTN, which is cleaved off on the mature protein during normally protein synthesis in mammalian cells. That means wild type mature VTN starts from aa20. That is why none of the four constructs have amino acid 1-19 and why pET-3c-rhVTN-N is a deletion of aa 20-62 from WT VTN.
