Plasmids for KLF Research

About

The Krüppel-like factors (KLFs) are a family of at least 17 DNA binding transcriptional regulators with diverse roles in processes such as cell proliferation, differentiation, inflammation, metabolism, fibrosis, atherosclerosis, and carcinogenesis. The defining feature of the KLF family is the presence of three C-terminal Krüppel-like zinc fingers which bind to CACCC elements or GC-rich regions on DNA to mediate transcriptional activation and/or repression. Continuing collaborative efforts within the KLF community have lead to the establishment of this shared resource on Addgene.

If you have created plasmids containing KLF, we encourage you to contribute to this community resource. Learn about the benefits of depositing plasmids with Addgene or email [email protected] to get started.
