Plasmids for Stem Cell Research

Adult cells can be reprogrammed to behave like pluripotent stem cells by the expression of defined genes. Addgene currently distributes a number of plasmids containing these genes, including the plasmids used in the seminal publications from the Yamanaka and Thomson labs.

To learn more about stem cells, please visit the Wikipedia Stem Cell Page or the NIH Stem Cell Information Page.
