- The modification of DNA with O-acylated N-OH-Glu-P-1 is G-specific. It was deduced that guanines are released in the reaction. Modification of guanine in DNA with N-OAC-Glu-P-1 occurs more frequently at the guanine residues in GC cluster-like regions.
