Thank you for depositing plasmids at Addgene! The first step is to add an article (published or unpublished) to your account. Then you will add plasmids to the article. For more information, download instructions.
Add Plasmids from a Published Article
- Addgene will provide links from your plasmids to this article
- Scientists will be asked to cite this article in future publications
- If your paper does not have a PubMed ID yet, please use the pre-publication submission process to the right
- Please search below as you would search PubMed
Add Pre-Publication or Unpublished Plasmids
- Addgene encourages the submission of plasmids pre-publication
- Useful unpublished plasmids are also welcome
- Enter a brief description of the plasmids. This will appear as the article’s title. E.g. "Smith Lab MAPK plasmids"
- Once the paper is published, we can easily associate the plasmids with the appropriate PubMed ID
If you would prefer to provide your cloning data on paper rather than online, you may Request a Paper Deposit Kit. Addgene will ship the necessary forms to your lab.
