Depositor Comments

Similar to the situation with some other plasmids in this collection, the missing four nucleotides at the 5' end of the WPRE renders it unrecognizable to SnapGene, but the expression vector is functional.

Nevertheless, for sfGFP expression, the depositor recommends the updated versions of this plasmid, PB CAG-sfGFP (https://www.addgene.org/133568/) or PB-CA sfGFP (https://www.addgene.org/159094/) that can also be used without the piggyBac transposase.

Red fluorescent protein versions are also available: PB CAG-tdTomato (https://www.addgene.org/133569/) or PB-CA tdTomato (https://www.addgene.org/159095/)
