BRAIN Initiative Collection

The Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies® (BRAIN) Initiative aims to revolutionize our knowledge of the human brain through the development and application of innovative tools enabling large-scale real-time interrogation and monitoring of brain cells and circuits during behavior. Long desired by researchers, the revolutionary dynamic picture of the brain generated through this effort will provide novel ways to treat, cure, and even prevent brain disorders.

Additional Resources

  • To learn more please visit the BRAIN Initiative Resource List.
  • NeuroMab/Trimmer Lab Recombinant mAb Plasmid Collection. The NeuroMab Facility and James Trimmer have produced monoclonal antibodies validated for neuroscience research. The plasmids encoding these antibodies are available at Addgene.
  • AAV Viral Service. Addgene provides a viral service to help facilitate scientific research. Addgene's AAV are made from a selected set of plasmids that are currently in our repository. AAV are distributed as 100 ┬ÁL of purified viral particles in solution that are suitable for in vivo use.
