Depositor Comments
There is a G > A transition at nuctiotide 480 of the EMCV IRES and a C > T transition at nucleotide 148 of the replication origin (bps 1086 and 4693 respectively relative to parent plasmid map). The hEAG1 ORF contains a intentional synonymous T > C transition at nucleotide 894 to address sequence instability issues in the pIRES2 backbone in E. coli.
