We used a 4R K18 construct called K18 cysteine-free (K18CFh) with mutations at residues 291 and 322 cysteine to serine and a poly-histidine tag and a 3R K19 construct called K19 cysteine-free (K19CFh) with a mutation at residue 322 cysteine to serine and a poly-histidine tag.
