pTGV-ProkExpress is pTGV-Light (Addgene plasmid number 28032) with an arabinose-inducible promoter (PBAD) upstream of the multiple cloning site to allow regulatable expression of the transgene. The AraC protein, required for PBAD regulation must be expressed from its normal chromosomal location.
These plasmids were created by your colleagues. Please acknowledge the Principal Investigator, cite the article in which the plasmids were described, and include Addgene in the Materials and Methods of your future publications.
