Welcome to Vector Database!
Vector database is a digital-only collection of vector backbone information compiled by Addgene from third party sources.
This vector is NOT available from Addgene and the database is no longer actively maintained.

- The BamHI and EcoRI sites are 3' of the unique available in-phase initiation codon under control of the SV40 early promoter. Constructed by inserting the PvuII/BamHI fragment from pSV2-cat (SV40 promoter, small-t intron, polyadenylation signal, inactive CAT) into pUT322 (2 micron origin, URA3). Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI--6.0; BamHI/PvuII--5.6, 0.5; EcoRI--6.0. (ATCC staff) Shuttle expression vector. (ATCC staff) Permits expression in both S. cerevisiae and mouse cells. (ATCC staff) Medium is 1227 LB plus ampicillin. Hosts: E.coli CM5alpha, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, vertebrate cells, E.coli, Saccharomyces cerevisiae W303-1B/D, mouse cell line C11D.
