These PCR fragments have the first 138 bp after the AUG removed to eliminate a possible GSK-3 sequence. A new AUG has been inserted just after the Bam site. The mutant GFP of Hiem et al., inserted into Cla I site, followed by a STOP codon

Plasmid History:
Constructed by Randall Moon.
Note For Use.
Xenopus beta-catenin PCR amplified from st. 19 RNA. These PCR fragments have the first 138 bp after the AUG removed to eliminate a possible GSK-3 sequence. A new AUG has been inserted just after the Bam site. The mutant GFP of Hiem et al., inserted into Cla I site, followed by a STOP codon. This is no myc epitope.
