Depositor Comments

This plasmid contains a SUMO protein construct to serve as a control protein for binding experiments using the AH-SUMO platform, to verify non-interaction between the SUMO domain and liposomes of choice. It contains the SUMO1-98 region of the SMT3_yeast gene, followed by a Cysteine, a TEV site and a hexa-histidine site. On the N-terminal of the SUMO domain, it contains a region encoding for MGSGS, which is there to mimic the structure of a AH-SUMO platform that contains an N-terminal peptide of interest , serving as a better control.
