Depositor Comments

Plasmid containing the H2B-PAGFP fusion gene was a gift from André Nussenzweig (Kruhlak et al., 2006). The H2B-PAGFP gene was subcloned into the pACAGW-ChR2-Venus-AAV plasmid (Addgene # 20071).

Kruhlak, M. J., Celeste, A., Dellaire, G., Fernandez-Capetillo, O., Müller, W. G., McNally, J. G., Bazett-Jones, D. P., and Nussenzweig, A. (2006). Changes in chromatin structure and mobility in living cells at sites of DNA double-strand breaks. J. Cell Biol. 172, 823-34.

There is a 5bp deletion in Addgene's sequence compared to depositor's reference sequence. The deletion is in the vector sequence upstream of the ORF and does not affect plasmid function. There is also a mutation D26G in H2B; this mutation is found in depositor's reference sequence as well.
