- 3′ sequencing primer BGH-rev (Common Sequencing Primers)
The Hygromycin resistance cassette in pcDNA5/FRT/TO has been replaced with the Neomycin resistance casette from pEGFP-N1.
This plasmid can be used to create inducible stable cell lines with the FRT T-Rex system in RPE cells (RPE cells are Hygromycin resistant due to immortalization with telomerase and therefore unmodified pcDNA5/FRT/TO (originally conferring Hygromycin resistance) cannot be used.).
These plasmids were created by your colleagues. Please acknowledge the Principal Investigator, cite the article in which the plasmids were described, and include Addgene in the Materials and Methods of your future publications.
For your Materials & Methods section:pcDNA5/FRT/TO-neo (1795) was a gift from Jonathon Pines (Addgene plasmid # 41000 ; http://n2t.net/addgene:41000 ; RRID:Addgene_41000)
