This is a modified RET-EGFP vector for reasonably high-titer virus production, up to ~4x10^5 cfu/ml. However, the selectivity for the intragenic integration would not be as high as that achieved by other RET vectors (Type I). An additional XbaI site between EGFP and GHpA prevents isolation of essential elements of the vector on a single XbaI-XbaI fragment; this vector is not suitable for transfection.
