Depositor Comments

Part of pYT vector series which enables chromosomal integration via random transposition, facilitated by transposon Tn5 elements. Basic vector carrying the "empty" YT_core with specific cloning slots separated by designated upstream and downstream sequences for integron customization. Target genes can be inserted at the I-SceI site; additional marker, reporter or promoter elements may be integrated at further positions. Vector backbone is based on the yTREX vector and is equipped with the bacterial pMB1 ori, aphII-encoded KmR and mob gene from pBBR1 including promoter and oriT region and with yeast replication elements CEN4-ARS1 and URA3 marker.
