Depositor Comments

Mouse FGF8 cDNA splice variant 1(B) clone was isolated from an E7.5 cDNA library. The insert contains the entire coding region and 3' UTR. The SmaI site is in the FGF8 5'UTR 16bp upstream of the translation start site. The 3' XhoI site is from the vector MCS. The FGF8 variant 1(B) sequence is ~30bp longer than the variant 4(A) sequence.

For antisense probe linearize with BamHI and use T7 Polymerase. The transcript is ~875bp.
