This plasmid is derived from the Clontech pEGFP-C1 vector. The XhoI and SalI sites in the original HaloTag sequence were disrupted by silent mutations. Two missense mutations, p.R2127A and p.K2130A, were introduced into MYO7A (NP_001243012.1).
