- Low copy number shuttle vector. [3] Constructed by replacing the NcoI/AflII fragment of pUB110 (nt 4033-4543) with the corresponding fragment from pEB114cop1 which contains a G -> T transversion in the Shine-Dalgarno sequence of repU at position 4130. [3] The copy number is 11 +/- 2 in Bacillus subtilis, resulting in an increase in structural & segregational stability. [3] Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--4.5; NcoI--4.5; BamHI--4.5. (ATCC staff) Medium is -1 1065 plus kanamycin/neomycin (3 ug/ml).
