The XanthoMoClo collection contains a set of 160 standardized and characterized plasmids and parts used for the modular assembly of single and multi-gene plasmids for any Xanthobacter or Roseixanthobacter strain. Also included in the kit is the conjugation donor strain Escherichia coli DH10B-MOB (Addgene #229395) that can deliver plasmids to recipient cells (i.e. to transform Xanthobacter).

This kit will be sent as bacterial glycerol stocks in 96-well plate format.

Description

The XanthoMoClo collection contains a set of 160 standardized and characterized plasmids and parts used for the modular assembly of single and multi-gene plasmids for any Xanthobacter and Roseixanthobacter strain. The kit employs a modular cloning strategy with Golden Gate plasmid assembly using BsaI or BsmBI enzymes, though the overhang sequences may not be compatible with all standard MoClo parts.

The kit includes 152 plasmid parts such as promoters, terminators, origins of replication, antibiotic selection markers, fluorescent proteins, and an origin of transfer (for conjugation). Also included are an entry vector for incorporating your own additional parts into the kit and seven pre-assembled backbones ready for your own gene expression cassette.

In addition to the plasmids, the kit includes the conjugation donor strain E. coli DH10B-MOB (Addgene #229395) that can deliver plasmids with an origin of transfer into recipient cells (i.e. to transform Xanthobacter).
