Hsa21 Gene Expression Set

Trisomy for human chromosome 21 (Hsa21) results in Down syndrome (DS) which is among the most complex genetic perturbations compatible with survival past term. To advance understanding of DS, the Reeves lab has subcloned 163 individual cDNAs (representing 162 conserved genes from Hsa21) into the pCS2-DEST vector to create an expression-ready clone set.
Individual plasmids from this collection can be utilized for in vitro transcription from the SP6 promoter or transient expression from the CMV promoter in mammalian cells, and the entire clone set is compatible for mass cloning into other vectors.
This kit will be sent as bacterial glycerol stocks in 96-well plate format.
